Description

Parafilm® M is a flexible, thermoplastic sealing film commonly used in laboratory applications to seal various types of containers, including tubes, flasks, and petri dishes. The film is a blend of waxes and polymers that provides an airtight and moisture-proof seal around the container.

The film is transparent, allowing visual inspection of the contents, and can be easily stretched and molded around the container to conform to its shape. It is also self-adhering, which means that it sticks to itself and to the container, eliminating the need for additional adhesives or tapes.

Parafilm® M is a semi-transparent, flexible, thermoplastic film with two-way stretch. This odourless and colourless film provides a tight, moisture-proof seal.

Non-toxic and free from plasticisers
Primarily composed of polyolefins and paraffin waxes offering good resistance against acids, alkalis and some organic solvents*
Will stretch 200% and adhere to irregular shapes and surfaces to provide a secure seal
