This product is supplied as a ready-to-use solution containing 3,3′,5,5′-Tetramethyl -benzidine (TMB) and hydrogen peroxide for ELISA. When this product reacts with horseradish peroxidase (HRP), a blue colored soluble reaction product appears. Its absorbance can be measured at 650 nm. After terminating the reaction by adding hydrochloric acid, the reaction product becomes yellow and its absorbance can be measured at 450 nm.
