Description
I. Intended use: In vitro diagnostic. Recommended for the cultivation and differentiation of enteric bacteria, restricting swarming of Proteus species from specimens such as urine, which may contain large number of Proteus species as well as potentially pathogenic gram-positive organisms.
II. Formulae & physical characteristics: AG brand prepared MacConkey Agar Plates are selective and differential media used for the isolation and differentiation of non-fastidious gram-negative rods, particularly members of the family Enterobacteriaceae
