Description
Casein-blocking buffer in PBS is a purified casein protein solution used for blocking steps in Western blot, ELISA, IHC and nucleic acid detection methods. Phosphate-buffered saline formulations are used for blocking excess binding sites on membranes and microplates in antibody-based detection methods. This blocking buffer was purified from milk and contains 1% (w/v) casein that corresponds to the optimal concentration for most applications.
