Description
Corning® 28 mm diameter syringe filters with a 0.2 µm pore PES membrane are laboratory devices used for the filtration and clarification of aqueous solutions and organic solvents. These filters are sterilized and individually packaged, making them suitable for use in sensitive applications.
The PES (polyethersulfone) membrane used in these filters is a hydrophilic membrane with a high protein binding capacity, making it suitable for filtration of proteinaceous solutions. The 0.2 µm pore size allows for the removal of bacteria, fungi, and other particles that may affect sample quality and downstream analysis.
These Corning® syringe filters have acrylic copolymer housings, female Luer lock inlets and male Luer slip outlets.
