Description
LYSINE IRON AGAR is used for differentiating microorganisms, especially Salmonella (included lactose fermenting S. Arizona),
based on lysine decarboxylation / deamination and H2S production. Lactose-fermenting salmonellae will produce pink colonies
on lactose containing media.
