Description

Corning® 25 mm Diameter Syringe Filters with a 0.45 µm pore size and NY membrane are designed for filtration of aqueous and organic solutions in a variety of analytical and research applications. These syringe filters are sterile and come individually packaged in a case of 50.

The 25 mm diameter of the filter provides a larger surface area for faster flow rates and higher throughput, making it ideal for sample preparation prior to chromatography or other analytical techniques. The 0.45 µm pore size provides effective removal of particulates and microorganisms from samples.

The NY membrane is made from a nylon polymer that is hydrophilic and compatible with a wide range of solvents and solutions. It is known for its high protein binding capacity, making it useful for filtration of proteinaceous solutions.

These Corning® syringe filters have polypropylene copolymer housings, female Luer lock inlets and male Luer slip outlets.
