The blocks are made of high grade, non-porous aluminum and precision machined for a close fit with sample containers – important for fast and efficient heat transfer. Anodizing adds corrosion resistance.

Most blocks, except those designed for use with plates and slides, include a position for a thermometer and a hole for use with the block lifter tool (supplied with the bath).

The AccuRack™ accessory accommodates 20 x 1.5 mL tubes and fits onto the D1105A block. The rack can be used to quickly transfer sample into and out of the block and is self standing. Insulated handles protect users fingers. The rack can be used at temperatures up to 150ºC and is autoclavable.
