SPLInsert™ Hanging
SPLInsert™ products closely mimic in vivo environment, providing improved attachment, growth and differentiation of various cell types. With their permeable property, inserts are convenient and effective tool for diverse research areas such as transportation and invasion studies. Specially selected track-etched membranes of three different pore sizes (0.4, 3.0 and 8.0 μm) are used for SPLInsert™ products. Track-etched membranes ensure precise pore size distribution and consistent pore density, providing well-controlled experimental parameters.

The SPLInsert™ Hanging is a 24-well plate insert designed for cell culture and drug screening applications. This particular insert has 12 individual hanging inserts that fit into a standard 24-well plate. The inserts are made of polycarbonate (PC), a material known for its high clarity, durability, and biocompatibility.
The SPLInsert™ Hanging features a 0.4μm pore size, which allows for the exchange of gases and nutrients between the upper and lower chambers, while preventing the migration of cells between the chambers.
